To troubleshoot situations where you cannot connect to secure Web sites, try the following procedures, in the order that they are presented. After each procedure, try to connect to a secure Web site and determine if the problem is resolved. If you can connect to the secure Web site and the problem is resolved, you do not have to follow the remaining procedures. If the problem is not resolved, continue to the next procedure.
1. Enable Cookies
Internet Explore
  • Click on Tools from the browser Menu bar
  • Select Internet Options
  • Select Privacy tab and move the slider to Medium High, Medium or Lower
  • Click Apply, then OK to exit
Firefox, Mozilla
  • Click on Tools from the browser Menu bar
  • Select Options
  • Select Privacy
  • Click on Cookies and change the settings
2. Delete Temporary Internet Files
Internet Explore
  • On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and then click the General tab.
  • Under Temporary Internet files, click Delete Cookies. Click OK when you are prompted to confirm the deletion. Click Delete Files. Click OK when you are prompted to confirm the deletion.
  • Under History, click Clear History. Click Yes when you are prompted to delete your history of visited Web sites. Click OK.
Firefox
  • On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Privacy icon
  • Click Clear History
  • Click Clear Cookies and Clear Cache
Mozilla
  • On the Edit menu, click Preferences
  • Click the plus sign in Navigator
  • Click History
  • Click Clear History
  • Click the plus sign in Advanced
  • Click Cache
  • Click Clear Memory Cache, and Clear Disk Cache.
  • Click OK
3. Verify that browser is configured to use TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.3
Internet Explore
  • Click the Advanced tab.
  • In the Settings box, under Security, click to select the Use TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and Use TLS 1.2 check boxes (if they are not already selected), and then click OK.
Firefox
  • On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Advanced icon.
  • Scroll down, under Security, click to select the Use TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and Use TLS 1.2 check boxes (if they are not already selected), and then click OK.
Mozilla
  • On the Edit menu, click Preferences
  • Click the plus sign in Privacy & Security
  • Click TLS
  • Click to select the Enable TLS 1,0, TLS 1.1, and Enable TLS 1.2 check boxes (if they are not already selected)
4. Verify that the Date and Time Settings on Your Computer Are Correct
MS Windows
  • Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  • Click Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options, and then click Date and Time.
  • Click the Date; Time tab. Make sure that the date and time settings are configured to use the current date and time, and then click OK.
5. Go directly to the login page
